Additional information Satellite L-band. The band 1626.5–1660.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) may be in the mobile-satellite service used by transmitting radio equipment on basis of individual authorisation except of following transmitting radio equipment whose operation is possible on basis of General authorisation VO-R/1 providing that frequencies used by the stations are considered as shared. The use of the band is, in accordance with RR footnote 5.354, subject to coordination under RR provision 9.11A. Earth stations using the band 1660–1660.5 MHz stall not, in accordance with RR footnote 5.376A, cause harmful interference to stations in the radio astronomy service;
